The interchange at I-35E and TX 121 was under construction when these photos were taken in April 2005. The interchange opened to traffic on July 7, 2006. Although TX 121 was funded with gasoline tax dollars, a decision was made in 2005 to toll the facility, so the ramps connecting to and from the west side of the interchange are to the tollway. TX 121 will also be tolled to the east, but there will be a free exit at Hebron.
