Central Expressway has always been Dallas's most distinctive freeway. For 50 years it was DFW's most poorly designed freeway with its suicide ramps
and roller-coaster grades. After completion of the reconstruction in November 1999 it became the most architecturally distinctive with its
decorative structures, landscaping, and faux columns.
